INTRODUCTION

FeedMe's cutting-edge point-of-sale (POS) system helps F&B restaurants simplify restaurant operations, resulting in faster, more efficient service and an enhanced dining experience for customers.

The advanced mobile app from FeedMe is made to make it easy for customers to order food and beverage (F&B) restaurants to eat out and get their food delivered. With features like easy meal ordering, simple reservation making, and table service management, customers can focus on enjoying their meal instead of trying to figure out complicated menus or waiting for staff.

THE PROBLEM

The existing mobile app lacks a consistent and cohesive visual language and user interface. Therefore, there is a need to create a design system that establishes a unified and recognisable design language for the app, improves its usability, and enhances the overall user experience.

REVAMPING FEEDME

We performed a heuristic analysis on the current FeedMe Mobile App to identify any deficiencies and ensure alignment with industry design standards. Through this analysis, we aimed to discover areas that require improvement and compare the app's user interface with established design principles and standards in the industry.

STREAMLINING DESIGN

After the heuristic analysis gave us some ideas, we started making a design system that covers all aspects of visual styling and UI components and can be expanded.

We also made templates for each flow in the app to make the process of putting it all together easier. This allowed us to ensure consistency and cohesiveness in the app's design.

THE RESULT

In conclusion, we did a heuristic analysis of the current FeedMe Mobile App to find areas that need to be fixed and brought in line with design standards in the industry.

Based on what we learned from the analysis, we made a full design system that includes all aspects of visual styling and user interface (UI) components, as well as templates for each flow in the app to make the development process easier.

This approach allowed us to ensure consistency, cohesiveness, and an improved user experience in the app.
